Privacy Policy — Pingo

1. Data We Collect

• Phone number: used to register and verify your account through a one-time password (OTP) sent to you.
• Name and profile photo: optional, displayed to other users in your profile.
• Contacts: with your permission, we read the phone numbers in your address book and send their numeric (E.164) form to our server only to match which of your contacts use Pingo (a principle similar to well-known messaging apps). We do not store your full address book, do not share it with any third party, and do not use it for marketing.
• Voice and media: when you send a voice message or make a call, the audio/video is transmitted to deliver it to the other party. Voice/video calls are transmitted directly between the two parties (P2P) whenever possible.
• Attached files: images and files you send are uploaded to the server to deliver them to the recipient.

2. Device Permissions and Why We Request Them

• Microphone: for voice messages, calls, and instant push-to-talk.
• Camera: for video calls (optional).
• Contacts: only to match the contacts you know who are registered on Pingo.
• Notifications and background service: to receive calls and messages even when the app is closed.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to operate the app's services (sign-in, messaging, calls, contact matching). We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Storage and Security

Data is stored on our secure server (pingo.tatweer-tec.com) and transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS).

5. Account and Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below, and we will carry out the request within a reasonable period. See our account deletion page for details.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 years of age.
