Integrated E-Commerce Platform
Development of a comprehensive e-commerce platform with an advanced product and order management system and multiple payment gateways, designed to deliver a seamless and fast shopping experience.
Challenge
The company relied on an outdated website that could not handle the growing volume of orders, resulting in extremely slow page load times and a poor user experience. The cart abandonment rate exceeded 75% due to a complicated checkout process and lack of support for local payment methods. Additionally, the inventory management system operated separately from the website, causing frequent product availability issues. The company needed a modern platform capable of handling thousands of concurrent visitors while maintaining high performance.
Solution
We built an integrated e-commerce platform using Next.js to ensure fast loading speeds and search engine optimization. A robust backend was developed using Node.js with a PostgreSQL database to efficiently manage products, orders, and customers. We added a caching layer using Redis to speed up responses for the most visited pages and handle high traffic during peak times. Multiple payment gateways were integrated via Stripe, including credit cards, cash on delivery, and digital wallets, along with a comprehensive dashboard to manage all business operations in one place.
