Development of an intelligent educational platform that uses artificial intelligence to personalize learning paths and deliver an interactive, adaptive learning experience tailored to each student's level.
Challenge
The educational institution suffered from high dropout rates and low course completion rates that did not exceed 30% at best. Educational content was delivered using a one-size-fits-all approach regardless of students' varying levels, causing advanced learners to feel bored and beginners to feel frustrated. There was no effective system for continuously assessing student progress or providing immediate feedback to help them improve their performance. The institution needed an innovative technical solution to make learning more interactive and personalized, increasing completion rates and improving learning outcomes.
Solution
We developed an advanced educational platform using React with a rich interactive interface supporting video, interactive exercises, and adaptive quizzes tailored to the student's level. An AI engine was built using Python and TensorFlow that analyzes each student's learning patterns and suggests personalized learning paths aligned with their strengths and weaknesses. We added OpenAI API support to provide an intelligent tutoring assistant that instantly answers student questions and offers customized explanations for each query. The platform was hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure automatic scaling as user numbers grow, with a comprehensive analytics system providing teachers with detailed insights into student progress and content effectiveness.
